FAQs

How long does treatment take?

It varies depending on the goals of the patient, complexity of disease states, and willingness of patient to commit to their new lifestyle.  On average, expect 3-12 months, but often significant improvements may be seen much sooner.

Are you a medical doctor?

No, I am a Functional Medicine Practitioner and Doctor of Pharmacy.  The intention of my practice is to help patients feel their best by identifying the root cause of disease and restoring the body’s normal balance with a combination of nutritional and lifestyle recommendations.  Our services are not meant to replace those of a medical doctor, instead are intended to be used in addition.

Do you accept insurance?

All fees are self-pay and we do not accept insurance.  In general, most insurance companies prefer to cover services such as drugs and surgery that are the main services in conventional medicine. They are not generally focused on covering the preventative and wellness services that we provide for our patients.

Do you prescribe medications?

I do not prescribe medications. However, as a pharmacist I can help manage your prescription medications with your medical doctor and offer recommendations regarding supplements and over-the-counter medications.
